Fall 2013

Jay Sutherland, President at Relectronic-Remech Inc. and his team are extending a Thank You to all customers for your support over the very busy spring and summer season with so much rain and therefore so many claims. We are pleased to have your continued endorsement of our loss recovery services for mechanical failures, electronic losses, data recovery, restaurant losses and our home appliance recovery division.
  • We will soon have a satellite office in the Barrie /Georgian Bay area and all claims can be forwarded to claims@relectronic-remech.ca
  • Also, we now have official vendor status with AVIVA Canada and look forward to servicing all Aviva claims throughout the region.
  • We are proud to say one of our senior technical consultants was involved in the arena loss in Medicine Hat this summer – spending four weeks there to help ensure the arena was up and running sooner than anticipated.
  • For all consulting files, we do travel throughout the province and provide excellent reports for LKQ equipment.

Spring 2013

Before we can enjoy the “May flowers” we have to put up with the “April showers”, which can be accompanied by lighting storms. If your property happens to be the unfortunate victim of a lightning strike and was damaged in the process, RELECTRONIC-REMECH can assist you in restoration or replacement.
  • Please contact our offices for all household losses - i.e., stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, garage door openers, freezers, water softeners, TV’s and music systems.
  • If smoke and water damage is minimal, we can often recover right on location.
  • One of our service vehicles is now being dispatched from central Toronto to service the east end, out to Ajax, Whitby, Pickering and Oshawa.
  • For large commercial electronic losses (including data recovery) plus restaurant losses, mechanical failures and CNC equipment, our experienced consultants can travel throughout Ontario for assessments and evaluations.

Fall 2011

Fall newsletter! The focal point of this newsletter is centered on jobs that involved restaurant equipment. The first job required the recovery of restaurant equipment after a fire caused serious damage at a pizza franchise location. Our ability to recover and clean the equipment "that gives this restaurant a heartbeat" had the business up and running in a timely fashion. The second job is actually a combination of many following the substantial losses in Goderich this summer. Our company’s ability to provide replacement costing and ACV reports on the entire inventory of the restaurant losses has all parties exceptionally happy.

Spring 2010

Spring newsletter! This newsletter focuses on two high profile jobs that involved highly technical equipment. The first job was tasked to our RELECTRONIC division requiring them to fix an electronic video conversion unit. This was completed by our knowledgeable and skilled technicians in a timely fashion to minimize downtime. The second was completed by our REMECH division and involved a mechanical microscope that was restored to pre-loss condition. The customer was extremely happy with the finished product and was able to get back to researching in a few days.

August 2009

Announcement: In order to stay on top of current events in the world of restoration RELECTRONIC-REMECH will be attending CIAA's 25th annual General Meeting and Conference. RELECTRONIC-REMECH will meet and share ideas with adjusters, insurers and other restoration companies.

Announcement: RELECTRONIC-REMECH would like to welcome Paul Norris-Lue to our loss recovery team. His advanced knowledge in the field of electronic restortion can be attriuted to his engineering background of 22 years in Control Systems Engineering. His job focus will be on the consulatation of electronic, software and mechanical loss for adjusters, claim departments and risk managers. We're looking forward to working with Paul to further increase our quality of service provided to our valued clients.

Restaurant Services

When a restaurant sustains a fire or water loss there are decisions and procedures unique to it’s industry that need to be considered.

Our team will determine on site the impact of the type of loss to the kitchen equipment, then a report with recommendations is compiled
and sent out immediately. This report includes ACV, replacement costs and estimated restoration costs. It also details which pieces
will need to be disconnected, recertified and reconnected to comply with strict codes. This is a crucial part of getting the business
back into operation as quickly as possible.

RELECTRONIC-REMECH will co-ordinate the pack-out or on site cleaning, disconnection, restoration and recertification, reconnection and return
all in a well-practiced manner. When replacement is required, we will source it, arrange for delivery and disposal of the replaced equipment.

RELECTRONIC-REMECH technicians also deal with the electronic equipment in the front of the house, from sound equipment to point of sale,
our divisions capably work together to ensure that business will resume in a timely, cost-effective manner.
